Description

Visit some of Guimaras’ top tourist attractions with this half-day tour that starts in Iloilo. Those looking for a quick side trip when visiting Iloilo will love this tour, as it already includes air-conditioned land transfers, the assistance of a tour guide, and pickup and drop-off from and to Parola Wharf in Iloilo.

You can choose to go in the morning or in the afternoon. If you choose the morning schedule, you will be picked up at 7 AM, while the afternoon schedule starts at 11 AM. You will be picked up at Parola Wharf, where you will board a boat to get to Guimaras Island. Your first stop is the Mango Icon in the Jordan Wharf. Guimaras is famous for its mangoes, which are some of the sweetest in the world. You’ll then head to the Smallest Plaza, which, at less than 300 square meters, used to hold the record in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Your next stop is Holy Family Hills, a garden and retreat that is home to statues depicting scenes from the Stations of the Cross. You’ll also find statues of different saints here. Because this is a pilgrimage site, remember to dress properly as those wearing revealing outfits may not be allowed entry.

Before dropping by the Trappist Monastery, you’ll visit the Guimars Windfarm, a renewable energy plant that can generate electricity to power tens of thousands of homes. In The Our Lady of the Philippines Monastery, you can meditate and buy snacks and souvenirs at the monastery shop. You can continue shopping at your next stop, the Pasalubong Center.

After that, you’ll visit the Guimaras signage, which is located near your next stop, the Guimaras Provincial Capitol Grounds. After taking travel photos, you’ll make your way to the National Mango Research and Development Center, where you’ll find plenty of mango trees. The last stop is Guisi Lighthouse, which offers a good view of the beautiful Guisi Beach. It is also said to be the second oldest lighthouse in the Philippines.

On this tour, you’ll also get the chance to try the famous Mango Pizza at The Pitstop. For morning tours, you’ll drop by the restaurant after all the other stops, while those in the afternoon tours will start their trip here. Lunch will be at the traveler’s own expense.

Your guide will take you back to Parola Wharf at the end of your tour so you can continue with your Iloilo holiday on your own.

Travel from Iloilo to Guimaras and explore the island’s tourist spots when you book this half-day tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
